Mission Statement

A.S.M. is . . .

a Christian-based multi-media instrument designed for the healing and nurturing of the “lost sheep” (Matt. 10:5-8) of the Church of the Lord Jesus Christ. Once found, these sheep will be encouraged to pursue a lifelong joyous relationship with God through Jesus and His empowering Holy Spirit.

Multi-media means . . .

that A.S.M. will use every journalistic tool possible (i.e., the Web, the printed page, live preaching, radio, television, etc.) to seek out and minister to “whoever” (Joel 2: 32; John 3:15-16; Luke 5:31-32, 19:10; 2 Peter 3:9) is willing to receive our humble offering.

The name “All Seasons” was chosen because . . .

We at A.S.M. are convinced that God, through the ministry of the Holy Spirit, is with all believers through all of the natural and spiritual seasons of our lives.

--Natural:
“I have been young, and now I am old; yet I have not seen the righteous forsaken, or his descendants begging bread.”(Psalms 37:25)
That verse says it all! All of us experience many physical, mental, and emotional changes and challenges during our visit here on planet Earth. But, God is with us through them all (Rom. 8:37-39). In fact, one of Jesus’ “names”, Immanuel (Matt. 1:23), means just that. He is utterly faithful (1 Cor. 1:9) to hold our hand, or at times, carry us—spiritually speaking—(Psalms 91:11-12); rejoice (Matt. 25:21; Luke 15:7) and weep (John 11:35) with us; and listen (1 John 5:14) and give wisdom (James 1:5) to us. From conception (Psalms 139:13-16) until death—and beyond—and everything in-between including birth, infancy, puberty, adolescence, adulthood, middle-age, and the golden or twilight years, we are never beyond God’s ever vigilant all-knowing gaze (Psalms 34:15-18; 139:7-12).

--Spiritual:
“. . . like newborn babes, long for the pure milk of the word, that by it you may grow in respect to salvation . . .” (1 Peter 2:2)
“. . . but grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.” (2 Peter3:18)
The process of going from a newly “born-again” (John 3:3-8) baby in Christ to a mature loving, serving, powerful man or woman of God is a glorious work of art (Eph. 2:10). Like the potter with the clay, God is molding us into what He created us to be (Isa. 64:8). We are justified (just-if-I’d never sinned) in a moment but we are sanctified in a lifetime (Rom. 5:8-9; 6:19). And between these two you will experience all the different spiritual seasons.
When spring is upon you everything is perfect. It feels that God is near enough to touch and the Bible seems alive. Prayer is easy and every request is granted almost instantaneously. Your Christian life is in full bloom. No clouds are in sight, you are growing from “glory to glory” (2 Cor. 3:18). The joy continues and launches you into a time of sun and fun. So, you “roll out those hazy, lazy, crazy days of summer.” You decide that things are so awesome that a vacation is in order. It’s no problem, God won’t mind, you’ll just live off the springtime “high” for a couple of months. And you were correct, nothing happened, at least not right away. But, you suddenly become aware that things are beginning to look somehow different, they’re changing. The leaves on the trees are—you can barely say it—dying. And that’s not all. There are clouds forming over head, there’s a chill in the air, and even the days seem strangely shorter. Soon, it is icy cold and everything is dead. It’s depressing, there are no flowers or singing birds and even the sun doesn’t shine through the fog much anymore. Surely the God who created and sustains spring is not also the God of winter is He?
The answer is a resounding yes!
So, whatever spiritual season you find yourself in, know that God is intimately involved (Gen.39:21; Matt. 28:20; Rom. 8:38-39).

A.S.M. will minister to the church, but what about the unsaved?

“And He gave some as apostles, and some as prophets, and some as evangelists, and some as pastors and teachers, for the equipping of the saints for the work of Service, to the building up of the body of Christ . . .” (Eph. 4:11-12)

It is the responsibility of every believer in Jesus to, with the help of the Holy
Spirit, discover and develop their God-given gifts and talents, and then to imple-
ment them into their lives. Only then will they fulfill the destiny God has planned
for them in joyful service to Him and their fellow man (1 Cor. 12:27-31). In light
of this, we at A.S.M. will give all of our hearts and strength—yes, and our very
lives—as instruments of God’s choosing. We will reach out to the church with our right hand (that being our primary focus) with the hope that at the same time the lost world will feel the loving touch of our left. May the Holy Spirit flow through us in love, faith, wisdom, purity, and power to accomplish the blessed and challenging task before us . . . Amen!
